How to Measure
Use a soft tape measure over close-fitting clothing or bare skin. Keep the tape level and snug, but not tight.
- Chest - measure around the fullest part of the chest, under the arms, keeping the tape level across the back.
- Waist - measure around the natural waistline at its narrowest point, just above the hip bone.
- Hip - measure around the fullest part of the hips and bottom, with feet together.
- Height - stand your child straight against a wall without shoes and measure from the top of the head to the floor.
Still between sizes? Go up a size. Height is the best single indicator for kids, and weight the best for babies.

Step out in comfort and a little cheek with the Dog House Kids Socks in Brown Stripe. A soft, stretchy cotton blend keeps them lightweight and breathable for all-day play, with a knitted Aussie slang logo.
In the dog house means in trouble with someone, usually a partner. Forgot the anniversary? In the dog house. It carries a note of resignation rather than genuine distress, which is about the right tone for a kid's sock.
Kids sizes 9-12 and 13-3.
